چکیده
This study aimed to describe the morphoanatomical characters of fruits, seeds and seedlings, in addition characterizing anatomy leaves trunk species Protium altsonii Sandwith. The wood were collected Sustainable Development Reserve Iratapuru River (SDR), Amapá. Cross longitudinal sections cut with a rotary microtome. As for characteristics, it was observed that fruits are globose ovoid, slightly sharp apex short stipitate, they also present one and, more rarely, two pyrenes per fruit. mature seed P. altsonii, cross section abaxial region, is formed by seed-coat collapsed cells fleshy cotyledonary parenchyma, containing secretory cavities oil. In understory, young plants years six months compound, imparipinnate can 6 11 pairs leaflets. their turn, adult may or leaflets branch. cross-section wood, there numerous solitary multiple vessels; small medium; vascular elements simple perforation plate. morphological characteristics fruit, leaves, under allow us assure presents phenotypic plasticity as an ecological strategy. germinative efficiency field these have been caused release coumarin cotyledons.

Casearia sylvestris Swartz (Salicaceae) has been used in traditional medicine and its leaf extracts have been exhibited important pharmacological activities. The species presents morphological, chemical and genetic variation. Two varieties are considered due external morphological differences: C. sylvestris var. sylvestris and var. lingua. There are difficulties in definition of these varieties...

The leprosis disease shows a viral etiology and the citrus leprosis virus is considered its etiologic agent. The disease may show two types of cytopatologic symptom caused by two virus: nuclear (CiLV-N) and cytoplasmic (CiLV-C) types. The aim of this study was to compare the morpho-anatomical differences in the lesions caused by leprosis virus-cytoplasmic and nuclear types in Citrus sinensis (L...
متن کاملMorpho-anatomical changes and photosynthetic metabolism of Stenocereus beneckei seedlings under soil water deficit.
Characteristics developed by Cactaceae for adaptation to climates where water is limited include crassulacean acid metabolism (CAM), a thick cuticle, and spines and trichomes that intercept a proportion of solar radiation. A few studies consider morpho-anatomical and physiological characteristics of Cactaceae seedlings, which may help understand their establishment, growth, and eventual reprodu...
